How To Made “ Buras “
Nasi
Buras is a food made with a combination of rice and coconut milk and other
spices. Immediately, below is the process of making nasi buras.
Wash
the rice as much as 2 kg with water until it is completely clean and until the
water of the looks clear. And then drained the rice. After that, Steam the
cooked rice until it is half cooked, lift it and put it into the basin. Pour 5/6
liter of coconut milk, then add salt to taste and enter 3 bay leaves that have been washed. stir
until evenly with rice that is half cooked until coconut milk absorbed. Next, Steam
back rice that has been stirred with coconut milk until half cooked and tender
for about 15-20 minutes, and then drained it. After drained, take Buras rice
that has been steamed sufficiently then wrap with banana leaf and fold both
ends of the banana leaf to keep it completely closed and tied with rope 3-4 ties. The last process, Steamed Buras rice again that has been wrapped
until completely cooked and supple for
40 minutes.
