How To Make Buras ?



Buras is one of typical food of South Sulawesi. It is like 'Lontong' and usually served with 'Coto Makassar'. Buras is also easy to find in South Sulawesi because it is easy to make.

To make 'Buras', we need to prepare the ingredients and materials such as rice, 1 pint of  coconut milk (4 cups ), the salt, banana leaves, the rope, and scissors. After the materials and ingredients served, it is turn to make the Buras. 

First, clean the rice and washed ,boil coconut milk with bay leaves/leaves of pandanus stir constantly until boiling. Grated rice that has been in clean was with water coconut milk had been in mixed bay leaves/leaves of pandanus stir constantly until half cooked(until the water milk squeezed exhausted). Already on container for wrapped in banana leaves that had been cut according to the size. An apartment two edge can also until three front on with long 1 ½  finger,  wide 1 thumbs thumb.  Belt on both edges and steamed back 1 hour ( Thy union  not in spite when cooked) . If the leaves already are equally and the greasy (shiny) marked Buras already cook.
